We collect as little as we can, we never put real people inside our simulations, and we tell you plainly what we do with what we hold.
This policy explains how Simulant Labs Pty Ltd (“Simulant”, “we”, “us”) handles information when you visit our website, contact us, or use our platform. We've written it to be read, not to hide behind.
Simulant is a simulation research company. Our models are built from official, aggregate data sources and contain no records of identifiable individuals.
We collect only what we need to run our business and our product:
This is core to how we work. Our simulated populations are synthetic and statistical. Personas are generated from aggregate, official datasets — never from profiles of real, identifiable people. A simulation cannot be traced back to any individual, because no individual is in it.
We host on infrastructure with configurable data residency to meet public-sector requirements, and apply encryption in transit and at rest, role-based access, and audit logging. No system is perfectly secure, but we treat customer data as if it will be audited — because it often is.
We keep information only as long as needed for the purposes above, or as required by law. Workspace data is retained under your agreement with us and deleted on request or at the end of the engagement.
Subject to applicable law, you can request access to, correction of, or deletion of your personal information, and object to certain processing. To exercise any of these, email privacy@simulant.ai.
